Operation Performance Highlights
NSPCL-BHILAI EXPANSION (2X250 MW)
In 2009-10 both units I & II were declared commercial. Station grossed 2418 MU with machine availability of 85%.
NSPCL CPP-II (314 MW)
NSPCL during financial year 2009-10 generated 2625 MU from its CPP-II’s located at Durgapur, Rourkela & Bhilai against 2389 MU in the previous year, recording the best generation since inception. Similarly plant load factor (95.45%) in 2009-10 recorded an increase of 9.9% over the previous financial year.
In addition to providing power to Bhilai Steel Plant,12.12 lakh tonnes of steam was also made available from NSPCL Bhilai PP-II to Bhilai Steel Plant.
NSPCL Durgapur CPP-II recorded its highest ever generation of 1006 MU at 95.73% PLF.
Energy conservation measures have shown considerable improvement in specific oil & auxiliary consumption parameters as well.
