Turnaround Capability

NSPCL has played significant  role in turnaround of the captive units of SAIL.

DURGAPUR (120 MW)-

CPP-II Durgapur was taken over by NSPCL on 07.03.2001. The plant load factor jumped from 63.47% in 2000-01 to 95.73% in 2009-10.

ROURKELA (120 MW)-

CPP-II Rourkela was taken over by NSPCL on 07.03.2001. The plant load factor has increased from 94.06% in 2000-01 to 96.97% in 2009-10.


BHILAI (74 MW)-
CPP-II Bhilai was taken over by NSPCL on 19.03.2002. The plant load factor improved from 88.30% in 2001-02 to 92.51% in 2009-10.
