THE PARTICULARS OF FACILITIES AVAILABLE TO CITIZENS FOR OBTAINING INFORMATION, INCLUDING THE WORKING HOURS OF A LIBRARY OR READING ROOM, IF MAINTAINED FOR PUBLIC USE
NSPCL is maintaining a website www.nspcl.co.in. Interested people can visit this website for desired information. If the required information is not available on the website, they can send letters to the Company seeking the required information. If the information is available and can be provided, it will be furnished within a reasonable time.
Any Citizen of India who desires to obtain any information under the Right to Information Act, 2005 may make a request preferably in the application format in writing to the Public Information Officer/Assistant Public Information Officer.
Application Fee
As per Government notification, an application for obtaining information under sub-section (1) of section 6 must be accompanied by the prescribed application fee drawn in favour of Account Officer, payable at the local office where the application is submitted.
Application Fee: Rs. 10/-
Mode of Payment: By cash against proper receipt or by demand draft/banker's cheque/Indian Postal Order. Persons belonging to the BPL category are exempted from paying the fee upon providing necessary supporting documents.
Additional Fee
If additional fees are required, the requester will be informed before the information is furnished. The applicable rates are:

Samples or models | Actual cost or price |
Inspection of records | No fee for first hour, Rs. 5/- per hour thereafter |
Information in diskette or floppy | Rs. 50/- per diskette/floppy |
Printed form | Price fixed or Rs. 2/- per page for extracts |
Further, for providing the information under sub-section (5) of section of the Act, the fee shall be charged at the following rates:-
a | For information provided in diskette or floppy | Rs. 50/- per diskette or floppy |
b | For information provided in printed form | At the price fixed for such publication or Rs. 2/- per page of photocopy for extracts from the publication |
Appeal
If the requester does not receive a decision within the prescribed time or is unsatisfied with the decision of the Public Information Officer, an appeal may be filed with the Appellate Authority within thirty days.
Library Facility for General Public
Presently, NSPCL does not have a library facility for the general public.
